Meet the Team: Anna Guerra
Anna Guerra is a sophomore psychology major from the south side of Chicago. Anna joined the team fall of her freshman year after growing up watching her brothers dominate the rugby pitch. Her family has always been important to her and her brothers' years of playing made her motivated to join the team. Her older brother Andrew is actually her biggest sports role model. "He is the most dedicated and hard working athlete I've ever known and he makes me want to try my best. He always encourages me on what a good teammate is like and how to never give up" said Guerra.
Guerra isn't all rugby all the time though. During quarantine she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her daily walks with her mom will always hold a special place in her heart. Over quarantine she was also able to enjoy her favorite food, filet mignon, more often.
